A Decree of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt
Number 449 for the Year 1987
Regarding the Specialties of
the Ministry of Public Works and Water Resources

The President

After viewing the Constitution,
The Irrigation and Drainage Law issued in Law 12 for the
Year 1984,
A Republican Decree number 653 for the year 1980 regarding the reorganization of the Ministry of Irrigation,
A Republican Decree number 428 for the year 1987 pertaining to the formation of the cabinet,

Has decided:

Article 1

The Ministry of Public Works and Water Resources shall exercise the same specialties that were invested to the Ministry of Irrigation.

Article 2

The name of (the Ministry of Irrigation) shall be substituted by the name of (the Ministry of Public Works and Water Resources) wherever it is mentioned in the rules, regulations and presidential decrees.  

Article 3

This decree shall be published in the official newspaper.
