Responsibilities

-Establishing network triangles and data of leveling for Egypt.
-Production of topographic maps for Egypt.
-Production of detailed maps for cities and villages.
-Implementing dispossession lows.
-Counting the cultivated areas with regular crops every year.
-Measuring and calculating local gravity.
-Production of astronomical calendar.

 

Structure

The Authority consists of the following central departments:

- Survey Affairs Central Department.
- Maps Affairs Central Department.
-Technical Assistance Central Department.
- Financial and Administrative Affairs Central Department.
